The thing about Melaka which i miss the most while i am away is its GORGEOUS FOOD. The colour, the millions of flavours bursting in your mouth and the happiness afterwords is just truly satisfying.

The First Picture: Asam Pedas is a very spicy fish dish. Its like a signature dish in Melaka (for me at least) and is a MUST stop when i visit Melaka.

The 2nd: Me and my besties FAV dish in Melaka. The baba Nyonya Asam Laksa and Curry Laksa. This one is sooo good that we waited in front of the shop to open at 7.am for it to open at 9am. it was WORTH THE WAIT.

The 3rd: This cendol i have been having since i was 8 years old everytime i go to Melaka with my family. Its one refreshing ice cold dish after a spicy meal. very good. trust me

The 4th: This is another cold desert that just melts away in your mouth as you eat it.

All in all…Melaka is a great place to enjoy great Malaysian food and also a blend of Baba Nyonya and Portugese food. Its about a 1 hour plus drive from Kuala Lumpur (Probably longer since my bestie drives like a maniac..haha..sorry sof..)
Anyhow, make the trip to Melaka to savour its awesome food. Its Worth the trip.
